6As there was no game again this weekend as we continue to suffer the wettest winter for 150 years our chairman Steve Porter and his wife Isabel, our treasurer, spent a pleasant Saturday morning promoting the club. The occasion was a display by local clubs and societies in the.      Memorial Hall to mark its 100 year history. Over that time many football club events have taken place in The Hall including our Centenary Celebration, various promotion parties and who could forget the ‘Ron (chopper) Harris’ night.
