Wrington Redhill 4 Chard Town 5

This was a poor defeat at home to a very average Chard Town team and hard to take in a game where the lead was squandered 3 times to loose eventually to the odd goal was very disappointing. The team will  for sure be taking a long hard look at themselves and realise the parts they should all play to improve, defend as a team and stop leaking soft goals in games they should win. 7 goals scored  in the last 2 weeks with no points gained says it all and the team has slipped to just above the relegation zone.

On a positive note Joe Creese continued his superb run of form scoring a goal and looking dangerous every time he got the ball. Jake Harris scored on his debut and the other goals were scored by Jordon Bonner and Jack Hutchings. As long as this group of players regain their confidence and work hard on training night they have the ability to turn things around. This should start next week away to Highbridge Utd in the Somerset Senior County Cup.
