After a bright start by the reserves Simon Lee almost put them in front as they pushed for an early lead. Slightly against the run of play they went behind on the half an hour when a sloppy pass out of defence was intercepted and before they’d had chance to regroup a cross from the right was crisply despatched by Jake Keedwell. The rest of the half was keenly contested without either side really threatening, if anything Wrington had the better of the play but huffed and puffed with no end result. The 2nd half started badly when a shot from Keedwell took a slight deflection and beat Williams in the Wrington goal. The heads didn’t drop and Wrington continued to press. However the visitors went 3 up after a corner from the left was converted by Kelly when he beat Williams to the ball at the front post. Soon after Chris Holland was booked for a clumsy challenge and the resulting free kick was deflected for a corner. From the resulting corner Kelly headed home when he jumped un-hindered to score from 6 yards. Wrington became frustrated leading to Kyle Selman being booked for a late challenge when he overran the ball as he as he ran with it into the visitors box and flattened a defender who had cleared the danger. To add to the problems for Wrington substitute Rory Thomas picked up an injury and had to go off leaving them with 10 men. The visitors rounded up their perfect afternoon when Kelly completed his hat-trick with a tap in after some good work down the left and a clever pass from Dunn.
