On the back of two 3-0 victories expectation levels were positive but Wrington Redhill ended up on the wrong side of a 3-0 result albeit against a much stronger and organised opposition.

The first goal for the home side came on 15 minutes when the ball landed at the feet of Alex Male as defenders were unable to properly clear it and he struck the ball past Matt Hill. This goal was followed by two further spurned chances when Jed Williams lobbed over the crossbar and a Craig Wright shot was saved by Hill.

Wrington Redhill could have got on level terms when Callum Vickery set up Jake Horton but hesitation in getting his shot away allowed the defence to close him down. It got worse on the half hour mark when Adam Long took advantage of defensive lapses and fired pat Hill for a 2-0 lead. Another chance fell to the home side as interval approached but Williams shot over the bar. Right on half time an Ollie Clements free kick was collected by goalkeeper Greg Turner.

Early after the restart Joe Moore replaced Will Perry and Sam Clements replaced Simon Hewish. At this stage the visitors were getting more into the game and led to 3 Middlezoy players being booked for a number of fouls plus Vickery for retaliating after being constantly fouled. Mason Gardener and Leigh White tried to get the play going and Jack Board came on for Ethan Johnson. However it was the home side that clinched victory with five minutes from time when Dan Luce latched onto a long clearance to wrap up the scoring at 3-0.
