The Football Club golf day was a little down on numbers this year but organiser Nick Curtis says he is determined to next year’s back to the well attended event it always was. There may have been a few less participants but nevertheless records were set, Cheese holed a wedge shot on the 7th for the 1st ever eagle at this tournament and James Marshall also recorded a course record. Never before has a round of golf taken over 5 hours at Knowle

The event was won by the manager’s team of Leigh White, Alan Garrett and Graham Cheeseman and individual prizes for nearest the pin went to NickCurtis (on the 6th) Chris Holland (on the 12th) who both won a golf ball! Graham Cheeseman picked up the top prize (pictured) for getting closest to the pin (12ft) in 3 on the par 5 18th.

Special thanks to Knowle Golf Club who, once again made us very welcome.
