This year’s End of Season Awards were presented at a formal Dinnner Dance at South Sands Hotel. The meal was followed by a speech from head coach Jack English when he thanked the board for their continued support, the players for their determination and understanding and his assistants Will Hillman and Nick Hutchings. Will and Nick have often had to take up the reigns this season when Jack has had to miss games for 1 reason or another.
The awards went to:-
Golden Boot (top goalscorer) Jack Hutchings
Young Player of the Year – Elliot Edwards
Supporters Player of the Year – Elliot Edwards
Club Person of the Year – Leo Figg
Players Player of the Year – Luke Weeks
Player of the Year – Connor Harding -James.
Goal of the Season – Josh Skuse.
This was followed by presentation of gifts from the team to board members, coaches and special thanks to supporters and wives and girlfriends who have a lot to put up with and so often turn out in force ! Which was followed by bad singing by our tone deaf players and coaches followed by bad dancing!
