Former Manager Alan Smith has been honoured by Wrington Redhill FC in recognition of his successful time at the club.

Club Chairman Nick Finch said,
It  is with enormous pleasure the club can announce the bestowment of Honorary Vice President to former Manager Alan Smith .
The club feels it should reward and honour Alan for his 5 years of unstinting commitment , innovation & sheer hard work coupled with skill & enthusiasm that have elevated WRFC to the status it now enjoys.
Somerset County League  Div2 ( west ) Champions ,Division 1 runners up and Somerset County Premier/Division 1 Cup champions & current holders says it all.
Myself the Board of Directors and everyone at the club wish Smudge well in the future.
Alan can be always be assured of a very warm welcome at our club.

Former Manager Smith was contacted and said. ‘I feel very honoured and proud to have been given this award. It was a massive effort by everyone at the club and I am proud to be associated with such a great club and great people. I needed to take a break from football after 5 years and am enjoying the rest! Thanks again to everyone concerned in granting me this honour’.
