Well done Curtis and Dutch for organising this event during such beautiful weather! As usual there was much debate over coffee and bacon rolls in clubhouse about who’s playing off what and who’s playing with who before we set off. The leading 4-ball of Cheese, Colin Clarke, el Presidente Alan Garrett and John Clements eventually set off up the 1st at 9.30 and the day was under way. As usual a great days golf was had by all and special mention goes to James Marshall who at the 2nd attempt got his buggy up a set of steps and Dan Taylor who set a record for the most practice swings ever had during a round of golf! The winners were:-
4 ball better ball competition
1st – Paul Faulkner & Mike Clements
2nd – Whitey and Ollie Clements
Longest Drive – Cheese
Nearest the pin on the 6th – Paul Faulkner
Nearest the pin on the 12th – Dutch
Wooden spoon Dan Taylor & Joe Moore
Most ridiculous free drop Joe Moore

Brilliant day, well done all those who took part!
