Nick Taplin is made a Life Member.

Always at the forefront when something really important needs to happen and one of the club’s most generous sponsors Nick Taplin has been a friend of Wrington Redhill FC for many years. The board had decided that it was high time Nick was honoured for all the valuable hours he’s had worked on behalf of the club with a Life Membership. The plan was that the announcement would be made and Nick presented with a small memento to mark the occasion at our Presentation Evening. Sadly Nick  was engaged on family matters that night so it was delayed. As it was now the close season with no major events on the horizon the award was made by Chairman Steve Porter instead at a building extension meeting with considerable less pomp and ceremony! We are lucky to have somebody with his talents and ‘can do’ attitude on our board, well done Nick!
