With these 2 teams meeting for the 2nd week running it would appear that the visitors learned more from the 1st meeting and Wrington Redhill always looked 2nd best in this cup match. That said the hosts did create 2 early chances with Callum Vickery firing straight at Jason Mellor in the Nailsea goal and Sam Johnson firing over. Nailsea & Tickenham had much the better of the play from then on with Aaron Lata striking the woodwork, Chris Gale heading just over and James Sealy and Josh Benjamin both shot wide when well placed.

10 minutes before the break Dominic Grafagnino finished off a clever move beating home keeper Hill from close range to give the visitors a well deserved lead.

Jake Horton came close to levelling the score early in the 2nd half but his fine effort was too close to Mellor. Nailsea continued to boss the game and with Jim Potts probing they were soon 2 up when Benjamin’s clever header went in off the post. The game was settled once and for all when, with 20 minutes remaining, See,eyfired in from a narrow angle to make it 3 nil.

Manager Cheeseman then shuffled his pack and replaced debutant Dave Osibanjo and Mike Faiers with Michak O’Connor and Umar Nyanzi which saw Wrington Redhill competing better andlooking dangerous on occasions. With 5 minutes remaining Lim Knight found himself through on goal but his fierce shot was just wide.
