- Sadly we have to report the passing of Tony Badger on Tuesday 15th August after a long illness. Tony played for Wrington in the 60’s as a goal scoring winger with a powerful shot. Later he was a popular visitor to the football club and attended many games during the 80’s when sons Kevin and Barry played during a very successful period under Roy Hillman. Another son Mark also played for our club mostly on Sundays. The funeral will be held at Weston Crematorium on Tuesday 29th August at 12.00 pm and afterwards at Winscombe Cricket Club
