Mrs Maureen Finch

The Football Club would like to offer its condolences on behalf of everyone connected with the Club to Nick Finch and his brother Jeremy aka Spindle on the recent passing of their Mother. Nick advised she passed away pain free after a debilitating liver condition on March 27th, 2021.

Through Nick’s many years of association with the Club in virtually all capacities saw his Mother support us in many ways. She was very patient over many years, putting up with washing dirty kit, mud on the kitchen floor and the smell of deep heat! She became a Vice President and would always help with raffle prizes in support of fund-raising events. Also, for many years the family home’s garage stored various elements of the pitch barriers and spares.

She was always genuinely pleased to hear about progress of the club and results. RIP
