Manager Graham Cheeseman was delighted with a hard earned point from the opening game of the season at Frys which is always a difficult place to go for any team. This was an evenly matched encounter on a blustery day with much of the play restricted to midfield. Liam Knight almost scored the opener after 5 minutes when a well struck free kick just drifted wide. Shak O’Connor fired just wide in the second half and Frys had their moments as well Sam Clements blocked a goal bound effort and later Ed Searle headed against the crossbar. This was a hard working team effort with everyone working hard for each other, any one of the back four could have been handed the supporters man of the match, after some debate Sam Johnson was awarded the Bill Gough Sauvignon.
