The reserves chalked up a fine win away to Banwell. James Williams saved a penalty after Dan Burnett was adjudged to have bundling the Banwell forward to the ground. The home side took a 1 nil lead when their left winger cut and riffled the ball into the roof of the net. Wrington Redhill were shocked into action and got back on level terms when a Rowcliffe shot gave the keeper no chance. After some good work from Edmunds and Selman a penalty was awarded which James Marshall despatched firmly from the spot to give the visitors a 2 – 1 half time lead. The 2nd half continued with end ro end action until Marshall scored his 2nd with a towering header following a corner from the left. A dispirited Banwell looked like hanging on at 3 – 1 until Nick Curtis got the 4th smashing the ball into the net after a goalmouth scramble. Finlay Taplin looked lively when he came on with 15 minutes left as had Guy Banwell and veteran Paul Faulkner throughout the game.
