On Saturday 19th WRFC held it’s annual family Christmas party , we were joined by Father Christmas himself, kindly arranged through Mike Ford Entertainments Agency . Many thanks indeed sir .
A huge thanks & appreciation for the Fantastic buffet laid on by Jennie Pearce , Lucy Pearce & Rachel Taplin plus curry for the players that trained in the rain for 8 hours solid from 7am that morning N no wonder one or two of them were a little “ tired “ in the evening.
We were also joined by our local Foster care organisation from Churchill led magnificently by Jackie Bush 14 plus kids plus carers .. wonderful .. all children received a present from Mr Claus himself who very bravely helped with the players secret santa.
Personally whoever chose mine I have to say it is a stroke of genius and if you make yourself known a beer from me is a promise !
I would just like to say a big thanks to Colin Perry , Trev , Graham & all who help, for the valiant efforts they have put in to try to games on at ‘The Rec’.
