A huge thanks must go to The Club at  Cadbury House for their help once again with the 2019 Triathlon. 20+ sponsored participants cycled 10k then swam 1k at The Club before running the 5k back to our HQ at the rec. This year’s winner was 14 year old Max Brean who was only pipped at the post by last year’s winner Ethan Johnson who was there to present Max with the trophy. Other youngsters taking part included 9 year old Reggie Neck completing his 2nd event and 7 year old Harry Holland who was running at half pace because he’d promised to stay alongside with his dad. Thanks to some perfect weather a bbq was enjoyed by all those taking part as well as families, friends and committee members back at the home of football. Special thanks to Pat, Izzy, Mary, Gerry and Margaret for preparing the food and to Mike and Hester for the use of their kit. Some of the lads even had energy left for a particularly poor game of head tennis. All in all the day fitted in well as part of our pre-season preparations.
